Reconstitution & Handling

Vial Reconstitution Guide

Step-by-step reconstitution, BAC water volumes, storage, and safe handling for lyophilized clinical peptide vials.

These are research recommendations only. The primary provider must give final say on reconstitution volumes, handling, and protocols.

Reconstitution Steps

1

Gather Supplies

Lyophilized vial, bacteriostatic water, alcohol swabs, insulin syringe, and a clean surface.

2

Sanitize the Vial Top

Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab and allow it to air dry completely.

3

Draw BAC Water

Using a sterile syringe, draw the recommended volume of bacteriostatic water from its vial.

4

Inject Slowly

Insert the needle through the stopper and let the water trickle down the side of the vial — do not blast directly onto the powder.

5

Swirl Gently

Do not shake. Gently roll or swirl the vial between your palms until the powder is fully dissolved.

6

Store Correctly

Once reconstituted, most peptides require refrigeration. Refer to the product's specific storage guidance.

Storage Guidelines

Before Reconstitution

Store lyophilized powder in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is acceptable but not required for most peptides.

After Reconstitution

Refrigerate at 36–46°F (2–8°C). Use within the provider-directed window — typically 30–60 days.

Avoid Freezing

Do not freeze reconstituted peptides. Freezing can degrade the peptide and reduce potency.

Light Sensitivity

Keep vials away from direct sunlight and UV exposure. Store in original packaging when possible.

Safe Handling

  • •Always use a new, sterile syringe and needle for every injection.
  • •Never re-use or share syringes, needles, or vials.
  • •Inspect the reconstituted solution — it should be clear and free of particulates.
  • •If cloudiness or discoloration appears, do not use — contact your provider.
  • •Label the vial with the reconstitution date to track shelf life.
  • •Dispose of all sharps in an approved puncture-resistant container.

Calculate Your Dose

Use the vial dosing calculator to determine your per-injection amount based on your weekly total.
